Project: Loblaws Click & Collect

Role: UAT Tester

In Loblaws Click & Collect, I manually tested the functionality and appearance of the e-grocery storefront on various devices such as on desktop, iPad, and iPhone. I validated and verified the designs and the functionality according to the FSDs and the design wireframe documents. I tested user registration and check-out flows among other functionalities.

In addition, I also helped out Loblaws to manage the contents of their other e-grocery sites using Adobe AEM for their seasonal update – this includes President’s Choice, ValuMart and Real Canadian Superstore. I added, deleted, and edited the contents of their e-grocery storefronts on UAT (user acceptance testing), SIT (system integration testing), and PROD (production) environments.

Employer: Aversan Inc (Nov 2013 – March 2014)

Project: Manitoba BlueCross Claims Processing System

The image above is similar to the Claims Processing System.

Role: Tester

Aversan Inc. started out as a third-party testing company. Now, they help with the development, and testing of products and services in Aerospace, E-health and Business Solutions. Aversan’s core competency is testing, Independent Verification and Validation, test automation, and test program management.

I started in Aversan Inc. in November 2013 as a software developer, where I tested and verified the e-health system of the province of Manitoba: Claims Processing System.

Aversan’s role in this project was to deliver to its clients a suite of tests that ran as automated regression and to perform testing and verification of Claims Processing System (CPS) developed by SAP for BlueCross in the Manitoba. I implemented tests according to test plans, requirements, and functional specification documents (FSDs) provided by the Business Analysts. I also validated and verified the CPS with an automated testing framework. Accordingly, I performed root cause analyses of test failures and raised defects.

I mostly worked with Serena dimensions where we keep all our repositories to check out test cases and submit my test analysis. The tests were done using spreadsheets which were fed into the automated testing application.
