Summary
I am a Software Engineer in PublicisSapient Toronto. I joined PS in April 2014 and before that, I worked in an engineering firm that specializes in Aerospace and Defense markets as a software developer.
In PublicisSapient, I worked on e-commerce web applications using Hybris, and content management using Adobe AEM. I also helped with quality assurance, testing the appearance and functionality of a client’s CMS. For a couple of years, as a Business Analyst, I communicated with and captured specifications for clients for a more seamless implementation of the client’s new platform. Why Computer Science?
As a 90’s kid growing up in Asia, I was exposed to a hodgepodge of computer games and Japanese animated shows. I was also always surrounded by new technology – the start of the digital era as we know it: the evolution of mobile computing, social media, e-commerce, etc. And these played a big part in my career choices.
As many of you know, there are various fields within Computer Science. With my interest in both art (influenced by 2D and 3D animation) and technology, I gravitated towards Computer Graphics, Software Engineering, and Human-Computer Interaction.
